A Love Story by Alyssa Ferguson
The Heart of Hawaii:: Hana
Hana is a special place in Hawaii that holds such rare natural beauty it is easy to get lost in it. The trip to Hana is bumpier and windier than most but worth all the car sickness. We drove to Haleakala National Park and went for a hike to Maui's largest waterfall, Waimoko Falls at 400ft tall. I have been to Maui several times in the past but never to this one waterfall. I was amazed by its beauty and how easy the hike was to get there. On the way, Melissa, my Mother, and I stopped off at a couple of sites and ate some Thai noodles from a lady straight from Thai Land. The day was amazing and I got some great pictures. Here are some photos I took throughout the day.

All time photo. This Hawaiian just took a toke right before he jumped in the water. Check out the smoke. And I think the kid is flipping me off. So great.
