Loyal to my roots and proud to call Santa Barbara my hometown, I draw much of my artistic style from the aesthetics and culture of my surroundings. As a California native, I am influenced by West Coast beach and street culture — an energy I define as laid back but physically active, with a particular draw to hanging loose and being in a state of creative flow. Whether it be skateboarding, surfing, hiking, yoga, or painting a mural, I feel a deep sense of connection to my community in a way that can only be expressed through embodying this particular lifestyle.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Arizona and a technical certificate in Graphic Design from Santa Barbara City College. Over the past decade, I have built a career at the intersection of internet technology, business development, and creative strategy. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute, and professionally trained in program management, digital marketing, and graphic design — and I speak native Spanish.
After six years in the Action Sports Industry — holding a seat on the sales staff of skateboarding's legendary Powell-Peralta and then as Retail Marketing Manager at Neff Headwear — I decided to pursue my passion for graphic artistry and redirect my skill set toward solving the creative challenges businesses and entrepenuers face every day.
My work with SLTWTR Digital Creative Agency as Creative Project Manager brought me into collaboration with clients such as Channel Islands Surfboards, Seymour Duncan Guitar Pick-Ups, SeaVees Shoes, and The French Press (now DUNE).
Succeeding SLTWTR, I joined Ontraport — a SaaS enterprise providing digital marketing automation solutions for entrepreneurs and small businesses — where I spent 10 years growing from Project Manager to Program Manager. As a member of the Operations & Marketing Team, I built and maintained systems that ensured maximum efficiency, accountability, and flexibility for teammates and stakeholders, ultimately enabling Ontraport to deliver on its promise of alleviating the burden of technology so their clients could focus on delivering their value to the world.
Currently, I am freelancing in project management and graphic design, while dedicating time to my own creative art projects and soaking up everything Santa Barbara has to offer — whether that's catching a sun tan at the beach, hitting the trails, or finding inspiration in the community I love. I am available for group art shows, fine art commissions, and consulting in digital marketing, design, and project management. Feel free to reach out!
