The 2012 Rincon Classic

This year in Santa Barbara surfing history, I was blessed to be apart of the amazing Rincon Classic 2012 surf contest staff! I was stoked to donate my time and energy to one of our community's most anticipated winter events and so happy to make some new friends along the way. A big thank you to contest director Chris Keets from Surf Happens and our sponsors including Channel Island Surfboards, Quicksilver, Teva Shoes, and many more! The event was a huge success! Can't wait till next year!

Say hello to Mandy Candy, my first drawing ever on a surfboard! Thank you Kilian for allowing me to hit up your CI. This has been something I have been wanting to do for a while and I am stoked she finally made it out into the water for a surf. With limited colors, I plugged away, in the "zone" if you will, for about an hour and a half and I can't wait to do the next. The Ladies of The Rincon Classic

This past weekend, Surf Happens hosted Santa Barbara County's annual premier surf event, The 2011 Quicksilver Rincon Classic presented by Channel Islands Surfboards. I am a huge fan of this event because it supports local surfers and brings our surfing community together to celebrate SB's best Point Break. While my Beau was off competing with the rest of da boys, I took a moment to photograph some of my hotty friends down at The Con. More pictures to come.
