The Winter is For Bikinis

A while ago, my friend Derren from DNA Imagery took this photo of me close to Padero Point in Carpinteria. I was stoked on how it came out and wanted to share it with you! I can't wait to go to Hawaii this Winter and watch my boyfriend surf Pipe and spend time with my beautiful family on the Island of Maui. I was really happy to sport my Volcom bikini in this pic, but I am just dying to have a swim suit from Acacia.... Time for the gym!

Trip Up North

Last weekend I traveled up North to the Bay Area and Santa Cruz, California for a breath of fresh air. I was able to spend some much needed time with one of my best friends Nicole, listen to live music, and enjoy a 6- Star Prime surfing competition.

Check out this video from the music festival... I am almost positive half of the crowd didn't know how to react to these guys. You should have seen peoples faces. It was pretty awesome! Deadmau5 was ok.  I was a little disappointed. "Sometimes Things Get Complicated" was my favorite. However, he was way better at Coachella and Miike Snow's sound sucked! Not sure what technical difficultly they were having but it was not good, some songs turned out ok but it should have been  better. Don't think it was the band's fault. Over all, the whole atomosphere and the line up was sweet! I'm stoked to go next year!

I love Halloween! It is my favorite time of the year! I also love witches and have grown up being hypnotized by these ladies since I can remember. Who is your favorite witch?

Therefore, it stands to reason, does it not sisters dear? That we must find the book, brew the potion and suck the lives out of the children of Salem before sunrise. Otherwise it's curtains. We evaporate! We cease to exist! Dost thou comprehend?

I am determined to get a Husky. A wolf dog as me and my babe call it. Some day soon when I  have the room, but I am getting ancy. How cute are these babies? I am in love.  Ahhh

One another note, Die Antwoord fucking rules. I saw them in SF and shook my butt the whole way through their set. I love their beats and they are funky fresh.

Birds of a Feather

Loving this feather hair piece! It seems that feathers are popular again.... my mom used to rock them in the 70's, maybe if you are lucky I will share her yearbook photo soon :P. There is just something about the way they look against hair that is just so lovely. I went to Treasure Island Music Festival in the Bay Area this past weekend and there were defiantly a lot of feathers! Hoping to make a new clip very soon with some new hawk and owl feathers I was gifted. Can't wait to share!

It is my pleasure to introduce you to my dear friend Katelyn Kunesh  from Chicago, IL. Katelyn and I met while we both were studying in Barcelona, Spain through an abroad program called CIEE. Not only did we travel to some of the most Romantic places in Europe together, but we built an amazing friendship and great memories during our Spanish studies.
