Beautiful La Paz Mexico:: Una Boda

I am sorry I have been laggin' on blogging lately. It seems like life is just passing me by way too fast, leaving me little time on the computer and no more day light after work. I am going to try to post more pics asap! For starters:: One of my best girl friends Ashley just got hitched to her high school sweetheart Sean. The wedding was in beautiful La Paz Mexico, on the Sea of Cortez. I have never been to La Paz and I was taken back by its raw beauty and crystal clear ocean. The ceremony was goregous and I made life long memories with our wedding party and group of friends. I couldn't have asked for more.

VANS 2nd Annual Combi Pool Classic

Female skateboarding is currently still an infant in the action sports industry. To give you some perspective, it is almost where woman's surfing was when Roxy was introduced back in 90's, except girl's skateboarding doesn't have a "Roxy" yet. With the female vert event being canceled this year at the ESPN X-Games, and slimming amount of contests this year for professional female skaters, the VANS Combi Pool Classic is a big deal. It was introduced last year when the female's were booted out of the prestigious Protec Pool Party at the VANS Combi Bowl. The division was canceled so the females created their own event. I have been lucky enough to attend this event for the second year in a row and I always walk away inspired to skateboard. Here are a couple photos from the contest and a rad little video made by USC senior Amelia Brodka.

East Coast girl Nora Vasconcellos and Allysha Bergado were stand outs at this years contest. Allysha took home first place. Did I mention she is 15 years old?

Winners podium! A big ups to Cara-Beth Burnside and Mimi Knoop for working with VANS to help create this event. You gals are leaders in this movement and are paving the way for women's skateboarding.

Viva Las Vegas

Some girls and I went on a Bachlorette trip to Vegas. Everyone looked darling and we had a blast. I was in desperate need of a girls trip to Vegas! I also was very grateful to wear a vintage Christian Dior necklace all night....Can't wait for the lender to open her new boutique in SB. More info to come.

DEADMAU5 Ft SOFI

Last night I went to deadmau5 at the Santa Barbara Bowl. The show was the best I have seen all season this year. Light show was out of this world, if you have the chance to check him out live, I highly recommend it. Here are some great songs featuring Sofi... she was smoking hot too!!

Bo Stanley Photoshoot sneak peek!!

Indian Summer is really going late into the year. Yesterday and well into the evening, Santa Barbara temperatures reached the mid 90's and boy was it hot outside!! It was the perfect energy and setting for the photo shoot we had scheduled with a talented group of friends and our surf goddess subject and Billabong Girls team rider- Bo Stanley. The beautiful sunset made some of the key pieces we photographed from Billabong's Designers Closet glow! Here is a little sneak peek of the shoot from my Iphone.

The Khashoggi's Wedding in Tahoe

I had the pleasure of experiencing my first trip to Lake Tahoe recently for the marriage of Emily Penner and Tarik Khashoggi! Tarik has been a long time friend of my beau and I was so flattered we were invited to share their special moment. Emily is among the most beautiful brides I have ever seen and the weekend was filled with many memories and good times. Congrats to Tarik and Emily!!! xoxo
