About Caterina Caligiuri Duncan

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, my creative perspective is deeply influenced by the aesthetics, culture, and natural beauty of the West Coast. From beach and street culture to the laid-back yet active California lifestyle, I find inspiration in the connection between art, movement, and community. Whether surfing, skateboarding, hiking, or painting, that sense of creative flow continues to shape my artistic style and professional approach.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and earned certifications in Graphic Design and Photography from Santa Barbara City College. I'm also a PMP®-certified Project & Program Manager with over 15 years of experience spanning creative agencies, SaaS technology, operations, marketing, and client experience.

My professional career began in the action sports industry, working with iconic brands including Powell-Peralta and BONES Wheels. These early experiences shaped my appreciation for authentic branding, design, and visual storytelling. I later transitioned into creative project management at SLTWTR Digital Creative Agency, collaborating with clients including Channel Islands Surfboards, Seymour Duncan Guitar Pickups, SeaVees Shoes, and DUNE Coffee.

For nearly a decade, I worked at Ontraport, a Santa Barbara-based SaaS company, as a Senior Project Manager leading initiatives across operations, client experience, events, and marketing. My work focused on strategic planning, program management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, helping teams translate business objectives into meaningful results.

Today, I'm bringing together my experience in art, design, and business leadership through independent creative work and freelance consulting. I'm creating original artwork and fine art prints inspired by California's coastal lifestyle, while offering freelance project management, program management, graphic design, and creative consulting services to businesses and brands.

I believe creativity and organization are complementary strengths. Whether developing a visual identity, creating a piece of art, or leading a complex program, my approach is rooted in thoughtful design, collaboration, and bringing ideas to life.
